In particular in Northern Tanzania only a very few places have boating and non-stop swimming facilities. Therefore we can consider Lodge lagoon as the last private beach property sale with this exclusive facilities. Some time ago the owner recognized the potential value for tourism of this location, and developed this cape, constructed a main house for the planned luxury lodge, but now he is forced to return to his home country due to family problems. Now this ideal spot is for sale and not even for much money.

| Here at a very low tide the best prove: The lagoon still has sufficient water to enable anchorage directly 3 meters off the shore. The sandy sea bottom is the same as the white sandy beach. |

From the main road which goes from Tanga to Pangani you have to follow a sandy track for about 7 kilometers before you will see the blue sea shining between the palms. |

| And on the junction of the above road turn right into the property. At the end of the track comes the mansion which is on this picture difficult to recognize. |

Located at a cape the shape of the resembles a bit a triangle with two sides on the sea side. From one side of the beach, the other of the long sandy stretch of it can not be seen - privacy! |

Down at the other side of the beach which was not visible on the previous photograph the beach offers a direct open view on the small beach house as well on the main house. Chalet, cottages or small beach huts can be constructed directly at the high water mark level - location matters! |

Here the main house which only consists out of two huge rooms. One upstairs intended to be the bar and another one downstairs as a restaurant surrounded with facilities like washrooms and kitchen. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Inside of this huge villa it is visible that it is not yet fully finished. Windows, tiles and electrics have to be placed. The estimated costs for finishing the main building with average material will be around 30.000USD. The project has a Tanzania Investment Certificate (TIC) and is therefore a matter of a tax free and customs exception. This allowed the owner only to use solid high quality material. |

Looking from the main house out through the garden, you see the Indian Ocean with preceding sandbank at the cape or so called Ras Mtangata. |
With a length of 30 meters the house almost fills the eastern and slimmer part of the property. The preceding garden is as well part of the slim corridor but towards the beach a more than 100 wide space offers you, your friends, family and customer enough space for recreation and a relaxed view. The white sandy beach stretch is 112 meters long!

![]() Viewed from the beach of Pirates fort: The whole historical skyline and scenery of Bagamoyo can be seen. Starting from the left side comes the ocean, followed by the ancient German custom house, the fish market and a wide range of old Arab and colonial houses and finally on the right hand side the Pirates which roof is half covered by a mango tree. All land in front till the sea belongs to this property.
