For people who prefer pool and bar life the hotel offers a 12 x 8 meter swimming pool with direct sea view and breeze. Its equipment and pumping system has been imported from abroad. The entire pool area is tiled; pool-beds and benches are at the disposal of the guests. A reasonable amount of deck-chairs are at hand for guests wishing to sit outside their room or on the beach.

 

 

Even in the interior the grove of palm trees gives you a picturesque view towards the hotel. On the right hand side is the entry followed by roofed car park. The roof on the left belongs to the staff quarter while far left comes the generator and workshop house.

 

 

Viewed from the center point of the plot towards the sea. The swimming pool is situated to the right hand side and in the back is the bar and the restaurant. The picture reflects  the view from the mainbuidling and assembles the view from the bungalows. Just a meter left of the point of view is a shower installed for showering after visiting the pool or the sea.

 

 

On one side of the main building is a bar, which was once used as a disco and 50 persons can sit comfortable. In the bar is double-door-refrigerator, a deep-freezer and a Coca Cola Company refrigerator for their products. The bar has a built-in double basin and storage room under it. Separated public toilets for men and women are installed behind the bar. The restaurant, which is located directly on the other side of the main building, just opposite of the bar, has a variable amount of tables and chairs enabling to accommodate up to 50 people. The owner has tastefully decorated this lounge with plenty of antique furnitures like dresser tables and chairs which are giving the place an historic flair. Bar and restaurant have a 30 meter long tiled terrace facing the ocean, in-between of bar and ocean a beautiful  decorative pond with live fishes connected by a small bridge giving access to the seafront terrace.

 

 

The reception room has a large counter decorated with antique Zanzibar furniture. For outside communication the hotel has 3 telephone lines from 3 different telephone companies (Mobitel, TTCL and ZANTEL) together with a fax machine. Futhermore the office has an Internet connection. A reasonable amount of books in different languages are at the disposition of the guests.

 

 

 

All bedrooms are fully furnished, some with twin beds, some with king-size beds and some with an additional bed enabling to accommodate up to 3 people. The owner bought huge amount of bed-linen and towels for all the rooms and also enabling its replacement while laundered. Each room has its own bathroom with a shower (hot and cold water), basin and WC. The rooms are also equipped with ceiling fans, mosquito nets for beds and windows. Part of the furniture of the rooms are Zanzibar antiques. For emergence electricity cuts security lanterns have been installed in all rooms. The guest can choose between European and tall framed Zanzibari beds. All rooms offer supreme comfort in a marvellous atmosphere in order to guarantee the guest 100% leasure relaxation.

 

 

 

 

A generator of 30KvA Caterpillar is at hand in case of electricity breakdown and a stock of diesel tanks for a total capacity of 3000 liters. 250,000 liters water tank has been built underground which  is supplied by the hotel own well. The entire water pumping system is in very good conditions. Several water heaters supply the necessary hot water. On the side of the main building is a big laundry room equipped with hot and cold water and an iron and its board. Laundry is washed by hand.  The building shown behind this coral arcade is for the workers which has 5 rooms and 2 own bathrooms and toilets.

 

 

 

Picture shows the source of the paradise of French gastronomy. The cuisine is a homage to the sea and sun due to the French trained kitchen stuff. So far the best culinary experience MyBeach team made at the Tanzanian coast. A very large kitchen is completely equipped with all the necessary machines (2 Kenwood, microwave, toasters, meat and fish slicer, gas cookers for breakfast, etc.) and a 3 meter large professional diesel oven connected to its own 1000 liter tank outside. There is a large cold-store, 3 large deep-freezers and a large refrigerator. The dishwashing area has 2 large stainless steel basins (hot & cold water) and 3rd basin is built-in the large working table. Crockery, cutlery, glasses and all sorts of cooking material of good imported quality are in sufficient quantities to enable best and easy service for long time including a large unused stocks of plates, forks and knives, .

 

 

 

Eighty meters of direct access to the white sand of this most beautiful part of Zanzibar’s East coast. Due to the less than 40 meters which are going towards the interior you have sea view from each and every meter of the property. This romantic passage between the palms is only used by the direct neighbours of this beach strip and it is not disturbing at all.. From the total area of 3059 m² more than 800 m² are already built up: 4 bungalows with each 60 m², 5 rooms in the main building  each 30 m², the house for the staff 100 m², bar, restaurant, reception and kitchen each 75 m² and the spacious workshop plus laundry.

 

 

Zanzibar has a privileged location as part of the triangle of the capital Dar es Salaam and the historical town Bagamoyo. As well as Dar es Salaam the island has an international airport which is situated near Zanzibar Town. From there the hotel can be reached in less than one hour drive. During the whole day fast ferry boats from Dar es Salaam are crossing in less than two hours to Zanzibar or vice versa.

 

 

From the old fishermen village Bwejuu you follow the sandy beach track for about two kilometers then you reach directly to the hotel. A bit further in the hinterland, situated on the coastal slope a new stony road goes up till the end of the peninsular which end is not anymore shown on the map. For going to Zanzibar town you have to go 4 kilometers south, pass Bwejuu and finally to enter the tarmac road in Paje village. The map shows as well the preceding reef of the East coast which is about 1 kilometer from the shore away. It protects the coast line from erosion and deflation.
